Description:
The MMR-556 is our custom in house rifle.
Both the upper and lower receiver are made from 7075-T6 Aluminum and annodized with a type 3 hardcoat. The lower has threaded and captured bolt catch and rear takedown pin screws. Plus a upper/lower tension adjustment screw to ensure that there is no wobble between the upper and lower.
Our rifles come standard with Magpul CTR stocks, Magpul MOE pistol grip, Enhanced trigger guard with all rounded edges.
The buffer is a standard carbine weight buffer and a chrome silicone spring.
The MMR also comes standard with a black nitride BCG with a 9310 steel bolt, 8620 carrier and gas key. The gas key is secured with grade 8 screws and staked at 130PSI to prevent cracking. It also has a 11 degree chamfer on leading bolt lugs for extremely reliable cycling even in the dirtiest of conditions. M16 Profile cut, M16 extractor with high tension spring and O-ring for reliable extraction. The firing pin is machined from a 416 stainless steel barstock.
The barrel is 16" with a mid-length gas block, Government profile barrel OEM from Ballistic Advantage. It's made from 4150 CMov steel, with a deep black nitride finish. 1:7 twist rate for heavy defense or target load stability.
