Description:
An Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver In Fine Plus Untouched Condition. Serial #158,133 all matching numbers. All original & complete. Made in 1859 with a 5 inch barrel. The revolver has fine metal, markings and crisp edges. It has a very clear, and full cylinder scene on it. The barrel and cylinder on the gun retain most of its factory blue on them with some small areas fading into a plum patina. The frame, hammer and loading lever retain most of their vivid rainbow case colors on them. The brass trigger guard is untouched and shows some original silver on it around the trigger guard. All screws are excellent with original blue on them. The factory grips are fine and retain their original varnish on them. The gun has an excellent action and bore. This Is A Fine Plus To Excellent Example Of A Very Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver That Was Made In 1859!
