Description:
Standard length 28 inch octagon barrel chambered in the original 45-75 WCF caliber with full length mag tube. Original sights include a German silver bladed front sight and a Model 76 folding ladder rear sight. Wood is in very good condition with a fair amount of varnish remaining. Wood to metal fit is good. Rifle style buttplate. Crisp tight action. Sharp corners and light barrel address marking. Overall gun has about 30-40% blue turning a smooth plum/brown patina. A nice clean sharp gun. It is hard to find these open tops with any finish.
