Good-Very Good condition. The gun is well used and there are numerous nicks, dings, scuffs, scrapes and dents. Little to no original finish, metal has probably been scrubbed at some point but is turning a pleasing grey/brown color. A lazy L brand has been carved into the left side of the buttstock and forearm and scratched into the left side of the action. There are two holes in the toe of the buttstock and one in the forearm that may have been to accomodate a sling. There is a crack in the bottom of the forearm foreward of the barrel band and a small sliver of wood missing at the right side of the tang. The barrel is a replacement and has both the circle p and the Winchester proof marks. The magazine tube has some dings and is slightly bowed just behind the barrel hanger. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Sights are correct front and ladder type rear. The gun has a nice light trigger pull and the action works well, it would make someone a fun little coyote/ jackrabbit saddlegun.
