Good to Very Good condition. Metal is in overall very good condition with some bluing wear and light scratches. The front action screw is buggered up and it is missing the rear sight blade. The bolt handle has turned purple. The 2 piece Redfield scope bases appear to have been homemade from a 1 piece base but seems to work well. The ring screws are also buggered.
Bore appears to be excellent.
The wood is in good condition with some dings, scratches, scrapes and scuffs. The rosewood forend tip has had a splinter and been repaired although not very well. There is a small crack on the right side, just below where the action and barrel meet. The rifle has been glass bedded and the crack appears to be solid. I have tried to show most of the damage in the pictures.
Scope is in good condition with some minor handling and ring marks.
Overall it is a nice little rifle in need of a loving home.
