This is a rare and original example of the 1908 Commercial DWM Luger, with no stock lug on the frame, with four inch barrel, chambered for 9mm Luger. This one has Crown BU proofs on receiver, and Crown BUG proofs under the barrel. All numbers are matching, with unnumbered grips and magazine. The serial range for these is 39,000-71500, so this is one of the first 2,000 produced. The bluing is original with most of the finish loss on either side of the barrel, and a little more on the bottom of the front strap. Grips and mag are in very good condition with minor handling wear but no cracks or chips. Bore has nice rifling but some frost throughout.
