Description:
For sale is a Ruger M77 Mark II gray stainless rifle chambered in .243 as set in a light brown laminated stock with Ruger factory rings. Sold as pictured. Manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co.: Bolt Action with Internal Hinged Floorplate Magazine with the markings on the left side of the barrel is marked “.243 WIN” and with a circled “PR” proof. The top of the barrel is marked with Ruger’s 2 line Warning Address. The left side of the receiver is marked with the “SN” and “RUGER M77” and “MARK II”. The heavy barrel is 26” in length and has a recessed crown. The stock is one-piece brown laminated stock. The stock is one of the nicest laminates ever as shown by the pictures! The stock has a straight comb with pistol grip and a wide beavertail fore end. There is a black solid rubber recoil pad with a Ruger logo on its rear face on the butt and there are sling swivel studs mounted in the belly and on the underside of the fore end. There are a few very light handling marks scattered over the stock. The Ruger logo pad on the stock butt is in about very good and the stock probably rates a 96% over all. The rifle has what Ruger refers to as a Target Grey finish which is appears as a dull satin grey. The finish is original and this rifle has been a safe queen since purchase. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and there is no erosion in the bore. The trigger pull is light and crisp. This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a few very light handling marks on the stock and a few light ones on the metal. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about NRA Excellent condition.
