Description:
A very interesting fantastic set. There is set of shotgun barrels, combination rifle shotgun and a double rifle barrel. Gun features hammers with top opening action. Wood is very nice with a cheek piece and finely cut checkering. It has a 2-piece steel buttplate. Action is beautifully engraved with tight delicate scroll covering about 75%. Beautiful gun. One hammer springs doesn't work and the firing spring is dragging when you open the gun. Not hard to fix. The 500 black powder express 2-5/8 inch rifle barrels have a 3-leaf express sight, excellent bores and retain about 95% original plum/brown finish. The 16 gauge shotgun barrels are in very good condition as well with bright bores and Damascus pattern. Nicely fitted in French style oak case with green felt lining and numerous accoutrements. You have to see this set to appreciate it. A bargain at this price.
