This is a delightful light English game gun, weighing just 6 1/2 pounds...According to consigner, it was originally built by famed London maker John Wilkes, circa 1900, and then reworked and reproofed in London, circa 1980...The 28" sleeved barrels are choked ic and imp mod. 2 3/4" chambers with excellent bores...Straight gripped stock, with a 14 3/8 length of pull. Drops are 1 5/8 and 2 3/4...Overall, fine condition...It is like a new gun, made up of original and replacement parts...Note lack of visable sleeving seams. How did they do that?
