Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum No. 1816 shipped from the factory in 1938. Renickled finish with gold washed smaller parts and stag grips. Shows a good amount of handling with edge wear, flaking and scattered scratches. Front sight replaced. Includes an additional set of Magna grip panels (non-matching numbers) and the Smith & Wesson archives letter offering the history behind the early Registered Magnums with information on this specific piece, signed by Roy Jinks. .357 Magnum
