Description:
This W&C Scott Borgardus Club Gun is mechanically as new and in marvelous condition with 99% brilliant original case colors and Damascus pattern on the barrels. The 30” fine Damascus barrels have perfect bores, 2 ¾” chambers, are 12 gauge bored full (0.035) and improved modified (0.025”). The well figured stock is beautifully checkered but has a repair at the head and a long scratch on the left side. W&C Scott made lots of guns for the American market. Capt. Bogardus was a very famous American live pigeon and trap shooter in the 1890s. It is a rare event when one sees a 130-year-old gun in this condition. SN 45958 mnfg. ca. 1893.
