Description:
Caliber 40-65 WCF. 26 inch octagon barrel and full length mag tube. Crescent butt plate. Dark bore that needs some attention. This is basically a brown gun with original blue in the protected area between the barrel and mag tube. Barrel is brown and the frame is a brown patina. Action is good. Traces of case color on the hammer. Wood has been lightly sanded but still fits good. The 40-65 is the 4th most common caliber in the Model 1886 and this one was made in 1902. A good old Winchester.
