.44 American, #23798, 8 inch barrel, blue finish, 2 piece walnut grips, all matching, factory cut for stock partially obscures the serial number on the butt, all matching, 1872.
Condition: bore is bright with a rough area 4 inches back from muzzle, 50% barrel blue melding to silver, 80% frame blue, 40% cylinder, excellent grips, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
