For sale here is a 1978 Browning A-5 Light Twelve (12ga 2 3/4"). Purchased NIB by my late father at a gun show we had attended. I traded him for another shotgun I owned many years ago and have owned it for some 20-25yrs as best I can figure. My father used it to pheasant hunt back in the 80s & 90s and I used it for both upland and big game in areas where SG was required. I ordered two Hastings barrels for it and got rid of the Bowning 28"Mod barrel it came with. Both barrels are 24", with one a choke tube barrel with vent rib and the other a fully rifled barrel with sights. When available Hastings Paradox barrels ran $400+ and are known for very high quality. Hastings was/is owned by Verney Carron a very high dollar rifle and shotgun maker. For it's age the shotgun has a very low round count and hasn't been used now at all in about 10yrs. The gun remains in EXC condition with some thinning of blue on receiver edges. Both barrels are excellent with excellent bores. Wood grades at 97% with just a few scattered hunting dings. The wood finish is in excellent shape.
