Description:
7 mm Mauser, 28" barrel with a mostly bright very good plus bore showing a little minor pitting and oxidation in the grooves with otherwise strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this 1920-dated rifle retain about 95% arsenal refurbished blue showing some sparsely scattered mild oxidation staining and minor thinning. The bolt remains mostly polished bright showing some smoothed-over very fine pinprick pitting and the markings remain mostly intact having softened somewhat. The smooth walnut stock and handguard remain in very good plus condition as lightly refurbished showing a 1" crack at the upper tang and some scattered light dings. The stock is stamp-numbered matching the receiver on the left side and the bolt and trigger guard are also matching. There do not appear to be any import marks, a cleaning rod is present, and the action seems to function well mechanically. This Spanish Mauser may make for a good shooter 7mm Spanish Mauser
