Description:
FN marked A5 receiver, 4 digit serial number with an X or Y in a box stamped under the serial. Receiver is blue/gray turning brown in areas English style stock with faded checkering from wear, and swivel hole, (swivel is missing) and FM marked Bone butt plate. 4 digit Serial dates to 1910 (in the 1910-1914 number block) Barrel is 26" from mouth of chamber to end of PolyChoke, nice bright bore. PolyChoke moves freely Barrel has Browning address on top, Cylinder 16 Special Steel on left side, Made in Belgium on right side Serial number on barrel indicates 1926 (number on boss for ring) Belgian proofs all over Handguard is short approximately 1/8 inch, as in is loose at the receiver end Handguard is not marked in any way, usual fine crack most seem to have, not reinforced on the inside. Mag tube cap has swivel installed An interesting mix of old Browning and older FN parts. 16 Gauge
