Offered for sale is one (1) J. P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl, Model 1913, Cal 7.65 marked on right slide, serial # 51801, Imperial Marked C/Q on right side frame below the Commercial C/N proof. Commercial C/N proof is also marked on back of slide screw cap. Marked on top of slide is J.P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl with the Sauer standing knight with club emblem. Original finish rates 94%, mint bore, grips are not cracked or chipped. Jan Still reports (on page 201 of his book "Central Powers Pistols") that war time production of the Sauer 1913 was about 30,000 guns.
