For sale is a 1974 Smith & Wesson 27-2 Class A Factory Engraved NIB that is absolutely Stunning. The last paragraph from the factory archives letter that pertains to this revolver reads:
" We have researched your Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum Model 27-2, Special Engraved Variation, caliber .357 Magnum, revolver in company records which indicate that your handgun, with serial number N103024 shipped from our factory on January 17, 1974, and delivered to Davidson Supply Co., Greensboro, NC. The records indicate that this revolver was shipped with a 6 inch barrel, target hammer, target trigger, blue finish, Class A engraved, andsmooth rosewood target grips. The current finish was not completed by the factory and was added after this revolver was shipped."
