Description:
This is a very early 1940's Springfield M1 Garand SN 53,959. Manufactured in August of 1940 this rifle has some stories. This rifle was inspected by an armorer on 6-20-22 metal is in good condition Muzzle reading is certified to be 4+ and the throat reading is 3+. Comes with one clip and a Certificate of Authenticity. The stock shows plenty of use with dings and dents. It appears to have what I would consider a bullet hole in the left side of the stock.  This does not affect the use of the rifle and is only in the stock. I think it adds to the overall story.

Only use ammunition intended for use in an M1 Garand some modern ammo exceed pressures designed for this rifle and can damage it. Ask me about our authentic M1 Garand ammo we have in stock.
