Description:
Winchester Model 1897 12 gauge manufactured in 1955. It has a 30" inch barrel choked "Full" (.030"). The original blue is 85 to 90% with most of the obvious wear on the magazine tube where it has been carried/used. Both the forearm and buttstock are free from any cracks, and the buttstock retains the original Winchester buttplate. The action on this Winchester is very nice with a slick and precise action that locks up perfectly. As you can see from the pictures, this is a lightly used Model 97. This Winchester Model 1897 would be the perfect gun for someone who wants one for their collection that they can shoot and enjoy, as well as appreciate for the historic design.
