SOLD This Winchester was produced in 1958! The rifle's serial number is 285096. The rifle has the standard 24 inch barrel that is chambered for the 22 Winchester Magnum cartridge. This serial number is really early for this cartridge! The first official announcement of the production and availability of this 22 Magnum was 1960. This rifle has the standard sights installed. The receiver also has the grooved top for scope mounting. This rifle has seen very little use or being fired. The original bluing would rate a 98% or better overall. The stock and pump handle retain all of the original finish. There are no blemishes on the wood. This gun is in very fine condition showing hardly any handling. The barrel lettering is also of the very early style. The bore marking is -22 WMRF- This lettering was used for a very short time. Here is a highly collectable early 22 Magnum in wonderful condition that would be a prized addition to any collection!
