SOLD - on HOLD waiting for payment! Here's a stunning example of a 1867 Dated Westley Richard Monkey Tail Musket! Only 2000 shipped to the British Military in 1877. 100 percent Un- touched Condition ! One of the finest examples known ! Bore and mechanics are in Excellent Plus Condition. Barrel measures 33" .Barrel still has most all of its solid bright finish still remaining dulling down to 85 percent bright. Frame has turned a nice mellow patina. Markings are crisp on all the metal . Original stocks are in Excellent Plus original condition . With a crack on the wood on left side going thru the original Catouche . Wood has all of its original patina . Stock is correctly marked by British Military Inspectors . All the metal is properly stamped and marked . Hun still has all its original parts . Super rare is the " Monkey Tail " system. Only used for a very short period of time and a limited production ! There where a lot less muskets made .
