Here's a Excellent Example of a original WW2 Winchester 1897 Trench Gun . Serial number 950,751 puts in the correct serial number range for a WW2 1897 Trench Gun ( correct range is 910,000 to 960,000 ) gun seen use ! WW2 Warlord ! Wish this one could talk ! Metal has all of its finish turning a mellow grey plum patina ! Gun shows many battle scars . Scratches and light dents from use . Markings are still sharp and legible . Shield is the original to the gun and is in excellent condition. Gun has all correct markings and inspector stamps including the correct GHD inspector cartouche on wood. Small crack at one side of wrist of stock barely a crack see photo. Overall stocks in excellent original condition. . Gun has original Milsco 1943 dated leather sling . Gun comes with its original Bayonet and sheath which is in very good original condition. Bore and mechanics are in excellent plus condition. Gun locks up real tight !
