COMPOSITE FRENCH PERCUSSION CAVALRY PISTOL CIRCA MID 1800’S. 12” o/a with shortened 6” smoothbore .69 cal. round barrel with “843” serial number stamped at the breech and what appears to be a regimental stamp “C.17.7” in front of it. Brass butt plate and trigger guard. Cone style conversion from flintlock and using a carbine lock. Very good overall and in working order. Type assembled during the Revolutionary era of the late 1840’s.
