1ST YEAR 1932 COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL NATIONAL MATCH 1911-A1 OR 1911A1 MODEL .45ACP CAMP PERRY MATCH STYLE PISTOL. One of 3,800 shipped out in 1932-33. Common to the Camp Perry match guns and known for their accuracy. Bo-Mar rear sight and custom front to match. Target trigger shoe. Hand stippled front strap and back strap(A1 style arch ground down and then stipled). Extra thick barrel collet for matches. Military barrel marked 'H" and "S" on barrel lug. Collet unmarked. Matching slide and frame correct 1932-33. Correct safety and slide stop as well as hammer. Original blue overall with signs of match use but never refinished at 80% with balance at front sight from replacement(very common post War for alteration to Match gun style). Walnut checkered grips with left flat upper portion shaved down a bit for contouring. Probably a tack driver as set up for match use and been in very old (+40 year old collection). From the golden age of Camp Perry matches using first year Pre-War 1932 pistol. One old unmarked magazine with some pitting. Factory letter states it was shipped Oct. 21, 1932 to Roskin Bros. in Middletown, NY.
