WAR OF 1812 HARPERS FERRY U.S. MODEL 1795 FLINTLOCK MUSKET DATED 1808. 45” .69 cal. smoothbore barrel with Harpers Ferry proofs and serial number “7025” stamped at the left breech. Lock stamped “EAGLE/US” and “HARPERS/FERRY/1808”. Well done reconversion to flintlock using correct to model parts that have been skillfully aged and are hard to tell from original. Otherwise all original including the sling swivels and ramrod. Has the original dark patina on the metal and the original finish the stock. Excellent markings and even has a faint script inspector’s cartouche on the stock behind the rear lock plate screw head.
