S/N 85*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1948. 24" Barrel. 99% plus Blue and Varnish. Perfect bore and mechanics. This is the rarest cataloged Model 70 caliber there is at only 362 legitimate examples ever having been made, with Super Grades of course representing only a very small percentage of those! All genuine and correct SG components are present including proper front sight and detachable swivels. Factory features of these transition guns include a clover leaf tang and the unique to this short period "clam shell" or "rabbt's foot" safety lever.
