WW1 MAUSER GERMAN PRUSSIAN MODEL 1898/05 BUTCHER BAYONET AND SCABBARD FOR THE GEWEHR 98 RIFLE. This one by Deutsche Maschinenfabrik A-G Duisburg as stamped on the ricasso. Older version with no flashguard. 1916 manufacture as marked on back of blade along with other Imperial markings. Excellent condition full length blade never sharpened(correct false edge) and in original white. Period replaced wood grip panels without grooves and held by round rivets. Original steel scabbard with most of the original bluing.
