Description:
Primo condition German Mark V Varmintmaster .224 Magnum. Bought from an NRA instructor 20+ years ago in San Bernadino CA. Stored in dry walk in vault in San Diego until move to South Carolina and now in an air conditioned vault. I am getting old and the kids have no interest.
I am a collector and that title because there was little time to hunt with a large family. I tried it once on Coyotes. It works !!
Wood is smooth and no visible dings or handling marks. Some light signs of Varnish crazing with a magnifying glass. rubber butt pad is replaced - common on 40 + year old guns, but it is a good fit and looks like the original. Bluing is typical Weatherby quality deep blue and no signs of damage or wear. Bore is clean and shiny.
I label all my rifles as i shoot them and important not to co-mingle short action ammo, all sighted in at 100 or 200 yards.
Scope is in like new condition as well.
