According to the 1998 Flayderman catalog,these rifles were built using the 22 practice Krag Jorgenson actions and Stevens Pope barrels purchased directly from Stevens and were shipped to shooting teams and individual shooters. This was not a military rifle but a separate commercial venture.This rifle has Lyman rear peep sight and a Lyman target front sight. The bore is mint and the rifle retains 98% of the original blue and wood finishes. A really rare addition to any Krag collection. C&R eligible.
