Description:
Serial #1046845, .30 WCF (.30-30), 20" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some trace freckling within the grooves. The barrel and half-length magazine tube of this 1928-made carbine retain 85-90% of the original blue finish, with the balance having some scattered areas of plum-brown freckling, as well as some silvering and fading. The receiver about 70% of the original blue finish with the balance flaked to bright gray, and retains a commensurate amount of blue on the lever and hammer. The walnut straight grip buttstock and forend are very good, with small handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the original oil finish. The carbine is fitted with a high front sight blade, and standard carbine rear ladder sight. This is a great looking 94, in fine overall condition. FFL or C&R
