SN: 816658. WWI U.S. military rifle made in 1918 and later refurbished. The barrel is marked Springfield 1929, and the bore is excellent. A serial has been etched onto the bolt and is not matching. The stock has darkened with age and ""combat wear"" and is in good plus condition. There are faint cartouche on the left of the grip and under the stock. The serial number is approximately 160000 over the single heat treat range. Overall very good condition.
