Predecessor to the NATIONAL ORDNANCE Company
Here we present a C&R Rowen, Becker & Company M1 Carbine Semi-Automatic Rifle, manufactured circa the late 1950s through the early 1960s in Waterville, Ohio. This carbine is civilian made and not inspected by the U.S. Ordnance Department, initially using parts from surplus M1 carbines, excluding the receivers and barrels. These were manufactured commercially and combined with the surplus G.I. materials.
This one features a sporty, contoured stock, and a flash hider.
The overall condition is very good. Excellent action and bright, sharply rifled bore. The stock is in great shape. No magazine is included.
