Description:
Chambered in 308 Win, this Winchester Model 88 is a fast-handling lever-action rifle. Initially produced in 1955, the Model 88 shares similar characteristics with the Browning BLR. This 1956 Model 88 is in excellent condition overall, with a few light blemishes in the stock, no cracks or splits. The press checkering on the walnut stock is in excellent condition. The metal surfaces have very little wear, mainly edge wear. The rifle has a 22" barrel with a hooded raised blade front sight and a folding adjustable notched mid-sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. This rifle comes with one, four round Winchester magazine stamped M-88. .308 Winchester
