This Deringer style pistol may look like it would slip easily into your pocket for self-defense during the 19th century, but this style of little gun is meant for celebration according to an advertisement by Lovell Arms Co. in 1890. They claimed that it was “unrivalled for celebration purposes” and “the standard ‘Fourth of July’ pistol of the country.” It was not meant to fire a projectile, but instead took .22 rimfire blank cartridges. There are no markings whatsoever on this gun, but it is generally accepted that it was produced by Iver Johnson Company of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Overall condition is good. Original finish. The action functions properly. Good bore, pitting at the breech. The barrel is a little loose as it swivels. Good grips. Crack in the backstrap. Barrel is 2-1/2 inches. Caliber: .22 Rimfire Blanks Only (short, black powder) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
