A very rare and excellent condition SHOOTING MASTER model of the Colt New Service .38 Special revolver. This is an early model built in 1913 per the serial number on Colt's . All the metal and grips are in 98%+ condition with minimal wear to the blue at the muzzle and trigger guard edge. Near perfect original checkered Walnut grips. It has the 1 5/8" cylinder so was made for the.38 Spec. cartridge. Very faint turn mark and it has perfect cylinder timing and lock up. 6" barrel with ramp front sight and fully adjustable rear Micro sight. Smooth trigger face with checkered hammer and cylinder latch. Perfect bore and rifling. If you are looking to add to your quality Colt collection, this will fit right in.
