Description:
28" SxS chopper-lump barrels with raised ramp front sight, smooth swamped rib, raised matted quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding platinum-lined express sights engraved for 100, 200 & 300 yards. Figured English walnut stocks with lever-release splinter forend, classic point-pattern checkering and with checkered sidepanels, extended bottom tang to steel-capped pistol grip, sling swivels, silver initial oval engraved J A A-H, and Silver's red rubber recoil pad. Fine scroll engraved boxlock action with Patent top screw treble grip action (their active doll's head third fastener), bushed firing pins, double triggers, and automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold. London nitro proofed for 75gr cordite and 500gr bullet. Pull: 14 1/2". Weight: 11lbs, 3oz. Built 1919. Tight, and with very good bores. 99%+ properly English reblacked barrels. Traces original casehardening colors on action (vivid inside forend), and with crisp scroll engraving.
