Description:
This is a very early Model 99F Light Weight Take Down Rifle. DOM is 1923. This was the original saddle carbine. It has the brass cartridge counter, and the original front white metal bead sight, and the original rear flat top sporting sight. The bore is shiny and perfect. The forearm, butt plate, and stock all have the same serial number. The metal is in good shape with some hunting marks. The stock has been sanded and has a chip missing from the toe. The take down fore arm has a sliver missing from the right side. For a ninety nine year old rifle it is in great shape and would make a fine hunting rifle. Shipping and insurance is $50.00. Please check with your FFL if he accepts a rifle from a non FFl with proper ID otherwise I have to charge $25.00 to send through my FFL. I can also send to a C and R licence holder.
