Description:
The Savage® Mark II GL Rimfire Rifle is ideal for hunting small game or pests, plinking, or firearm training. This Mark II GL comes with front and rear open sights, and a drilled and tapped receiver for attaching a scope base. The Mark II GL utilizes Savage's AccuTrigger® to obtain exceptional accuracy by allowing you to easily adjust it to your desired weight of pull, with a crisp release and no creep. A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. The Mark II GL has a blued steel barrel and receiver, and a ruggedly handsome hardwood stock. A detachable 10-round magazine allows for quick and easy loading and unloading; a 2-stage safety allows the action to be cycled with it in the safe position. The bolt features dual extractors for positive extraction of spent cases.
