Description:
Springfield Armory M1D Garand Sniper rifle with M84 scope in .30-06 Springfield. S# 1521378. The 24" Barrel is dated January 1953 and has correct drawing number & proofs on barrel shank. It is fitted with M1D sight base with correct staking of pin. The barrel is fitted with M2 four prong flash hider. This is a Springfield action with correct markings. It is fitted with operating handle marked "NH". Leather cheek pad is marked "MRT" & dated "1-52". Model 84 telescope with S# 26496 by LOF has crosshair and post reticle and is fitted with correct rubber eye piece. Very fine condition. TE: 6. .30-06 Springfield
