In 1971, Colt produced 2,500 special edition Model 1911 NRA Centennial Gold Cup .45 automatic pistols. Has all the standard Gold Cup features but was finished in a high polish royal blue. "GOLD CUP NATIONAL MATCH" with trophy filled in gold on right side of slide. Fully checkered walnut grips feature the special NRA gold medallion. .45 Auto
