Description:
For sale is a 1927 model Winchester 1894 rifle with a 26" like new half octagon "one of one thousand" 94AE replacement barrel in 38-55 caliber. The bore is shiney with strong rifleing. The previous owner was competing in cowboy action shooting using cast bullets which shot very well. The barrel and magazine tube are 95% blued but the receiver, crescent buttplate, lever, and forend cap have turned various shades of grey. The wood carries some dings and scratches with an epoxy repaired crack on the left buttstock wrist. A Lyman receiver sight is added for better accuracy at longer distances. This in no way is a "collector" but would be a great shooter and hunting gun. Shipping will be via UPS ground, insured, and tracked for $55. Ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. No sales to California or Hawaii. Alaska sales require additional charges.
