A South American Army Paratrooper unit built this helmet from the ground up from the surplus M-1 combat helmets the US gave them after WW2. I know my Viet Nam Airborn helmets. But the helmet in this ad really featured some cool inovations. When were they put together? Not sure late 1940's or early 1950's.
