***SOLD*** Very scarce transition era Winchester Model 70 in 22 Hornet caliber. S/N 61*** with matching scribed bolt made 1947. 24" Barrel. Exceptional condition throughout showing 98% original blueing. The wood is not far behind, but does show a few scattered use marks including a chip on leading edge of pistol grip, and a very short surface crack at heel of buttplate. The bore is superb, mechanics perfect, and I have verified that the chamber remains a true 22 Hornet and has never been reamed to a K hornet. A tough rifle to find and one of the best you will see.
