Description:
For sale is an early Springfield 1903 battle rifle in good shape with cartouched stock. The metal has faded to mostly a grey finish except for the protected areas. The wood carries numerous bruises which you would expect from a 100 year old military weapon. I have tried to picture the most obvious dings in the wood. The upper hand guard has a 3" crack starting at the sight but no chips or other cracks. The bore is shiney in the arsenal replaced SA four grooved barrel dated 10-22. Bolt latch and safety functions as designed. Ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping is via UPS ground insured and tracked for $60. No sales to Californis or Hawaii. Alaska sales require additional charges.
