Here is an honest and all-original Winchester Model 100 topped with a vintage Bausch & Lomb Balvar 5 scope. Manufactured in 1961, this rifle is in great overall condition and features a 22" barrel, open sights, 4-shot detachable magazine, and checkered walnut stock. This Model 100 retains 98% of its original blue finish with the only deductions being a small amount of handling wear along the barrel and a minuscule amount of high-edge wear. The checkered walnut stock is in great overall condition and is free from any signs of cracks, chips, or repairs, and just shows honest handling/hunting wear. All of the factory stock hardware is still in place and in excellent condition including the original factory sling swivels and buttplate. The bore is excellent with bright and sharp rifling, and no signs of pitting. All of the controls on this rifle are in 100% working order, and the bolt locks into battery perfectly. We do not doubt that this Winchester would shoot just as well today as it did when it left the factory in 1961. As stated previously, this rifle is topped with a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 5 scope. The scope is in excellent condition with clear glass and functions flawlessly. This Model 100 would make an excellent addition to anyone's collection and/or an outstanding hunting rifle.
