Description:
This is an excellent example of an Enfield No 2 Mk 1 revolver issued to the British military during WW2. From the "R" serial number prefix, this was made in 1942. The frame and barrel are matching, but the cylinder is mismatched. It comes as a rig with a really nice 1944-dated canvas belt and a 1943-dated canvas holster. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its wartime finish. There is very minor wear on the high edges and general. Some very minor thinning and tiny dots of oxidation along the barrel. Comes with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips - a few tiny dings here and there. Lanyard ring is intact. Mint bore.
