This is an excellent example of an Italian Army Glisenti pistol, that is in ~97% original condition. These were very complex pistols with all machined parts and beautiful early 1900s rust blue, that proved to be very expensive to produce. These were used by all branches of the Italian army before, during and after WWI, eventually being replaced by the more durable and cheaper to make Beretta 1934-1935 pistols. Glisenti was chambered in 9mm Glisenti which was an underpowered version of the German 9mm Para cartridge. One should take care not to use 9mm Para in this gun as it can result in irreparable damage and can be dangerous to the shooter. This particular example has minimal bluing loss but does have some spotty oxidation here and there, especially on the right side of the frame. A few very light scratches here and there and some minor brown patina on the grip straps. The grips are nice, but there's some minor chipping along the top edge of the right panel. Unfortunately, there is pitting in the bore throughout. Comes with one proper magazine.
