Description:
The item for sale is a Winchester 1894 SRC caliber 30 WCF (30-30) in original condition. The carbine has been well cared for since being manufactured in 1919. The barrel and magazine tube retain 95% blue. The barrel bands still retain the majority of the original blue which is seldom the case on these early carbines. The blade sight at the muzzle and the ladder sight at the rear are both original and correct. The original carbine butt plate retains original blue. The receiver retains considerable blue on the left with a nice wear pattern from the saddle ring. The saddle ring may be a replacement as that is common on these carbines. The right side is showing blue loss from.being carried. The lever, hammer, trigger and bolt retain a high percent of blue. The fit of the stocks is excellent. There are no cracks or splits in the wood and only minor impressions from handling. The bore is very good. The action cycles as it should making overall a very nice Winchester carbine. Please include $45 for shipping and insurance. A copy of a FFL is required prior to shipping. This will be shipped via USPS Registered Mail fully insured.
