Description:
This custom Winchester Model 70 in .338-06, serial number G320684, was made by David L. Wesbrook, who was a member of the Custom Gunmakers Guild for many years and author of the classic book, Professional Stockmaking, published in 1994 and reprinted in 2011.  The gun has had light use by him.

The stock is graceful, the walnut well-figured, and the checking classic wrap-around point pattern.  The tapered Krieger barrel is 23-inches long.  It has a detented-hooded full-band front sight and one standing and one folding island-mounted express sights.  The gun is built on a post-64 Model 70 action with a jeweled bolt and extractor.  The metal finishing and sight work was done by Dave Norin; the bottom metal by Duane Weibe.  Length of pull is 14 inches; the overall length is 44 inches.  The gun weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces.  The scope is a Nikon Monarch UCC 1.5-4.5 on Talley quick-detachable mounts.

The price does not include shipping cost, which is paid by buyer.  The inspection period is 7 days from receipt.
